Welcome!

My name is Taylor Williams (they/them), and I am a student at Boston University, where I am earning my B.A. in Music and my teaching licensure. I am from Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, and grew up loving music. When I was a kid, my brother and I would perform concerts for my parents on tiny plastic guitars and drums, and my love for music has kept evolving ever since. 

Currently, I am involved in the Boston University Marching Band and Winter Drumline, where I am Battery Captain and center snare. I am also a percussionist and trumpet player in the Boston University Concert Band. 

Over the years, I have learned that my love for music and performance is interwined with my love for teaching. In my ensembles, I love to lend a hand and do lessons with anyone who needs or wants them. In my teaching, I love to play along with my students and collaborate with them to perform the best that we can.
